Sorry for ANOTHER OKW question but I'm trying to know what to plan on when we get there in October.

Can you tell me what kind of dinnerware/eating utensils are in the studio units. How many - and are they glass or plastic ???

Thanks a lot -

Last time we had a studio it was paper bowls/plates and plastic utensils. The cups were plastic and I don't recall how many of each there were.

Are there at least coffee mugs ?? Guess I don't understand why there's a dishwasher in there if there's no "real" dinnerware.

How about the coffeemaker - is it one of those little 4 cup ones or a normal size ??

Thanks,

There is NO dishwasher in the studio. It just has a small kitchette with a bar sink, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, undercounter fridge and plastic ware, paper bowls and plates and a few real cups. I can't remember if the glasses are plastic or glass, but I do know if you ask for real ones, they will bring them. I think the coffee maker was regular size, but can't remember for sure.

It's only the studios that have paper/plastic dinnerware and "flatware". And yes, they do have "real" coffee mugs, but no dishwasher in the studios.

In the 1BRs and larger units, there is dinnerware, glassware, and flatware (the "real" stuff) and a dishwasher to load it all into! ;)

Thanks for clearing up the dishwasher issue - hmmm, why did I think there was a dishwasher in there

Still wondering about the coffeemaker - anyone ???

Thanks for the help. We'll be eating out anyway but it will be nice to at least have a quick breakfast in the unit. Where do you ask if you need more plastic dishes and silverware ????

As I said, I am pretty sure the coffe maker is regular sized. If you need more plastic ware or paper plates, call housekeeping.

agreed - real glasses and a regular size coffee maker and 4 pottery mugs

(that was last September)

Thanks very much for the info guys. I'm guessing this is about all we'll need anyway since we won't be cooking in the room. Just enough to have some coffee in the morning. Maybe I'll bring a couple of plastic cereal bowls with me. If I want real silverware, can I get it from housekeeping ???

Getting closer. I just can't wait to go.

hi, yes, it is a regular size coffeemaker (10 cups), you also have a toaster, can opener (mannual),microwave, 4 coffee mugs, 4 glass tumblers (10 or 12 ounces each), and a starter supply of paper bowls, plates, and plastic knives/forks/spoons. You can get more paper/plastic by calling housekeeping and requesting it. No, they won't give you "real" metal flatware in the sudios. Have a great time!

Actually, I think you CAN get real flatware if you ask for it.
