These guys just make me laugh too darn much.
Last night they were removing snow in front of my house. To do this, they use the grader, and push the snow off the sides of the roads into the middle of the road. Then the loader, with a HUGE snow thrower comes along, and throws the snow into the back of a dump truck. Then the back hoe cleans up the mess. Got that much? Grader, Loader, Back Hoe, and Trucks.
It's about 1230 and I hear them out there. DD9 comes into my room "do you think Mike is out there?"
Not sure but I know the rest of em are why?
Lets call him
Okay go ahead (I saw his pick up out there)
She grabs my cell, and calls him
Hi I'd like to file a complaint
You would? What about?
That stinkin beeper thats on that stinkin loader keeps waking me up
sorry hun, gotta work ya know
she hands me the phone
I say- goodnight, get some sleep, be careful out there etc.
Then I hear it on the scanner
this is the actual conversation
"R3 R28"
"R28"
"yeah just got a call from 3rd floor behind you"
"ayup I see the lights"
"yeah well Goo would like it if you could shut off that stinking back up beeper"
"really, I wonder how she'll like this"
"beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep" along with EVERY light on that machine FLASHING in strobe....her bedroom was lite up like a christmas tree LOL...he just sat there in reverse for about 45 seconds....
The conversation returns
"hey R27 hows your beeper?"
"ayup beep beep beep beep beep"
"R33?"
"beep beep beep beep beep"
About 30 seconds later, R28 calls,
hey bran, have a good night, sure hope she goes back to sleep for you....
Once I get my butt in gear this morning I'll be paying a little visit to the highway garage....the goofballs
