Another Noob Digital Camera Question (no delay when you press the picture button)

I had the Fuji S3000 and the S5200. The delay on the 3000 was annoying. Although I thought the camera was great I had to learn to anticipate the shot. And often when shooting people missed the smile and such. I can honestly say I never really noticed a delay with the 5200. I'm looking forward to getting my S9100 even though it's a so called "Point and Shoot".

the current generation of canon powershot (point-and-shoot) cameras are very fast. they all use a processing chip called "digic ii" or "digic iii".

the canon digital slrs are even faster.
