We decided on July 5th to go the WDW on Dec. 16-23. Our home resort is BWV, and 3 of those nights are booked, so I took all 7 at OKW. We like the ability to walk to 2 parks, so would have preferrred BWV. My question is: when the confirmation comes in, could I ask for all 7 on a "waiting list" to be moved to Boardwalk? I am not familiar with the term I should use, since all my other reservations have been at 11 months. do you think there is a chance there will be vacancies?

These last minute plans have screwed up the control I cherish on vacation planning!

Yes, you can ask MS to put you on the waitlist for BWV for all 7 days to come through at once. They would only call (or auto book you if that is what you want) if all 7 came through. If you do it this way, you wouldn't take the chance of only having some days come through and then having to move back and forth between OKW and BWV. This way of waitlisting is not as likely to come through as waitlisting for individual days. That is the trade off.

Good luck!

yes you should have a simultaneous waiting list request for 7 nights at BWV....if it comes available they will automatically reserve the room for you and send you a confirmation.....we have done this numerous time with BCV...worked every time....but we have never tried in december

listen to CarolMN :teeth: I think your best chance is to waitlist day by day and there are several ways to do it but it will take some creative planning on your part ;).
