get the camera at VMK central on main street. You have to earn magic pins by doing the quests, in order. First one is the deep sea quest, I think - CHECK OUT THE VMK GUIDE I know it is a LOT of information but it is all there, and reading through will give you an overview.

Currently, the only way to get many of these pin is by trading.

VMK Central to get camera but click on the pirate poster behind the place you "get your picture" taken to the left of the room...

Cameras are under the VMK Central part of the shop window.
Magic is released in shops, or you can trade for it.

Click the Shop button. If you've already activated the Camera header in
VMK Central, you can purchase rolls of film under that header no matter
where you are.
