Another newbie planning FAR in advance...

Thank you for explaining that more to me! I wasn't sure where to get the rewards card, but I have to call for it, huh? Is that through Visa then, or Disney parks? I did hear about them expiring, so we'll transfer them a few weeks before we go then. We usually charge about $20-30,000/year on our c.c's - so that would be nice.

BTW: where can you use the rewards? Shopping, dinning, anything?? I never even thought to ask exactly where you can use it.... thanks for all the info everyone!

I'm pretty sure there's a maximum on the rewards (I really don't know for sure though). It's good on the rewards card for at least a year (you can call and get all of the details).

I used mine in DTD, at Once Upon a Toy. I'm not real sure where all it is accepted. But, I think they run it similar to a gift card. (really though, I only transfered once, and used it once, I'm no expert. )

I did get it within like a week of requesting it. It didn't take long at all. I ordered mine about 4 months before we left, just to give it plenty of time to arrive.

I will certainly try to avoid the POP Warner kids!!! I have read all the terrible posts too.
When their schedule comes out, I will adjust ours. I just want to see the Christmas lights with my husband, whether its the week after Thanksgiving or early Dec- doesn't matter to me!

We were there from 12/3/06 until 12/10/06 and I believe they arrived on 12/1/06 and left around the same time we did. I never saw any of the bad behavior myself, but my mother had a bad experience in a restroom at the MK on Saturday evening. A couple of the teenage girls were antagonizing a woman with her child's balloon and pulling other pranks. On Sunday, things were starting to get quiet.

You certainly don't want to miss any of the lights, they were just breathtaking.
