Another MNSSHP Topic - Anyone have their COSTUMES planned yet?

With all this talk about MNSSHP going on I thought it might be fun to see if anyone has planned their costumes yet.........

My MIL is making ours and since she can be a procrastinator I had to get her started on them.

We will be going as the "Claus Family". DH is going as "Santa on vacation", I'm going as "Mrs. Claus on vacation" DS7 has chosen to be "Rudolph" and our DS2 is going to be an "elf".

The costumes are all being made in lightweight fabric with elastic waists and such so we can wear regular clothes underneath and take the costumes off if we need to.

What's everyone doing???

Our family is going with a Peter Pan theme. Our DS (4) loves Peter Pan, so he will be Peter, DS (1) will be Michael, DH and MIL will be pirates, and I will be Wendy. Those costumes should be easy to make and comfortable. We are so excited and can't wait for tickets to go on sale.

LOL, I just posted about this in a reply on another MNSSHP thread! We're all going Disney in some form - DD4 is Cinderella, DS2 - Buzz, DD10 - Belle, DH has agreed to wear a Grumpy shirt & some hat & not sure about me. I wanted us to go as Woody & Jessie but he's not going for it. LOL

The 2 little kids already have their costumes, compliments of online shopping. DH thinks I'm nuts, glad to know I'm not alone in planning early!


So do you think people get stern looks if they dress as Nickelodeon characters?

My 18 year old son is going as Captain Jack Sparrow, my 23 year old is going as Johnny Depp and my 25 year old as Orlando Bloom and my husband as Indiana Jones.
I am just hoping I can Jack's non working replica flintlock into the park because it is such an important part of the costume which is very authentic.
Anyway I am really looking forward to the parties.

My DD11 is a huge Halloween fan, she plans and re plans her costumes all year. This will be our first MNSSHP party so her planning is in overdrive. Right now my DH and I are going to be dalmation puppies and she will be Cruela.
