Another Military Salute question please

Some of my extended family is heading to DL in June and is planning on Military Salute as retired military. Can someone please tell me if that is for retired career
veterans as served a certain # of years or any veteran fomerly in service. I guess what I want to let them know is what qualifies as retired service veterans.

I am ex military para military and you must have retired from the military not left the military in a non retired statues. All retired military carry an ID card that designates so. Hope everyone has a great time and please thank them for me for service to their country and the United States constitution.

Karenann, you need to have a valid military ID (whether active duty or veteran), so if your family member doesn't have that, they will not be able to get the discount.

Thanks Sonny Jane. He is a veteran but I don"t know about his ID. This family group is going last part of June. I just don't want them to count on something they may not be able to use.
For our trip in July, we bought 6 day passes before prices went up Sunday instead of trying to coordinate with our Marine nephew. He will be joining us on some eves and weekend.
