Another ME luggage ?

Sorry, I searched but couldn't find the exact answer. We are bringing checked bags for the first time on ME. When we get to the AoA resort we plan on heading out to pool and grounds, right away. When our luggage becomes available, will they just put it in our room, or do we need to be there to receive it?

Depends. I'm not sure what the OP means, exactly. Are they bringing their checked bags to the DME bus with them? If so, the bags are now their responsibility, not DME's. If the room isn't ready, they will have to wait until they get to their room, and then call to have the bags delivered to the room. Very few people have reported getting the bags they brought on their bus, delivered to their rooms automatically.
BUT...if the OP means that they are tagging the bags and allowing DME to handle them, then yes, the tagged bags will go to the resort room automatically.

Yep...checked and tagged. Just wanted to make sure I didn't need to be there to call or recieve, thanks everyone

Then in that case, you're good to go. Just be aware that your bags will arrive in your room up to 4 hrs after resort check-in. It isn't always quick, but the bags will get there!!
