Another MB Question....

I might use it for those....I'm just into over planning. But I'm not using it for rides. I'd rather use regular FP for those. I was just wondering if I could link regular FP to my MB, not just FP+.

Currently regular FPs are just as before. A piece of paper you get from a machine showing your 1 hour return window. The FP+ system works on the MagicBand system. There is currently no way to put a paper FP onto a MB.

On more than one occassion last week we missed our FP+ time and it was easy to hop on the MDE app and change it to a later time or even a different ride/show and time.

For us they worked wonderfully! I enjoy preplanning our trips so basically know what park we'll be in on which day. We booked FP+ reservations before we left. It was great to know before we even boarded our plane that we had FPs booked for Soarin (x 3 days), Test Track (x 3 days), TSM (x 2 days) and many others.

My DD's favourite ride is Toy Story Mania so I booked that one late in the day for our day of arrival. Even though we didn't arrive in the park until 3pm we walked right up to TSM and rode it avoiding the long wait.

Yes, it does take a little more planning of what parks we want to be in each day of our trip but the amount of stress it took off us was immeasurable! No longer was I waking my sleepy preschooler up early each morning and rushing her to the parks to either ride the headliners before the lines got too long or trying to secure FPs. They were all booked so we leisurely made our way to the parks each day and partied late into the night.

I just chatted with a CM....if I want to use my MB like the current FP I can. I just have to go to guest relations and schedule the FP I want. They did tell me that it might be limited as far as times. I'm ok with that as long as I can get on that ride at some point that day. But if I use the KTTW cards, I can use that like I'm not a MB tester.

Would the CM be able to provide you with paper FPs for the day? It sounds like they'd be helping you set up your FP+ reservations for the day you're there. It will work, it will just take touring time away as you wait for assistance from a CM at Guest Relations which can be long waits at times.

We'll weigh our options...you can get the paper FPs just like normal. I wouldn't wait at guest relations for those, ill use the machines. I'd only use GR to put FP on my MB. But again, if the lines are long for GR ill use the FP machines at the attractions.
