Another Mardi Gras question???

I just read about the events surrounding Mardi Gras. We will be there March 20th - our 1st day in Orlando. We arrive at 10 a.m. and plan to go to Universal that morning. As far as crowds go that day and night what should be our game plan as far as eating dinner and getting to concert at 7:45. We will be on central time so we can stay up late( maybe not since we have to be at airport at 5:45 a.m) My kids are 9 and 11 so i'm not sure they'll be into the 2nd concert at 9:30-never even heard of the Black eyed peas.-may want to go back and swim or to bed for a good rest before Discovery Cove. Also, what goes on at 5:45 when it says the party begins.Thanks to all you pros !!!

Notice the Black Eyed Peas are playing, and two other dates say Coming Soon. I bet the suits listened, and will put newer bands in there, so the kids will drag their parents to the park.

They have posted all the dates, except for the weekend we will be there. March 13 - coming soon ha ha, it figures.
