Another magic band question

First let me apologize because I am sure this has been answered somewhere in the posts, but I am running out of time. I have had my Disney Experience set up for years. I have my tickets, room reservations, dining reservations and fast passes linked to family and friends magic bands. I recently ordered the Memory Maker, assuming it would be automatically linked to all of the bands. However, I received received a card (much like the plastic tickets) instructing me to present it to all photographers when we had pictures made. This is somewhat impossible because there are many times our family will not all be together at the same time. Is this just a "canned letter" I received, or is my MM linked to my bands. I have tried for days to reach the number on the letter, but I am told every time that all circuits are busy and to call back.

Do you see MM down at the bottom of the list of items on your MDE, in the Reservations and Tickets page?
If so, you are good. Any one with a band in your MDE account will link back to you.

i received the MM card too in the mail (after i returned from my honeymoon lol). we didn't have any issues with using our magicbands only for the MM; it was linked up to both of our bands. to make sure it is linked, check out your MDE as it will show there. i had done that myself before we left to travel to FL.

Hi!! We went last November and purchased the memory maker too. I received my card in the mail but we did not have to show it to anyone in the parks, we used our magic bands. We had 8 people in our group and we all used it. We logged into MDE every now and then to check on our pictures, we loved having it.

Yes just check your MDE account at the bottom, if it is there you are good to go! Think of the card as a back up. You wont need to show it but you could if you wanted to. Also the MB will automatically link to ride photos and because you have memory maker if you do a ride that also does video as well ( 7DMT ToT) you would get those in your account as well. Also look for photographers with backdrops and ask for magic shots you will probably get some "animated" photos as well. Have a great trip!
