another Mac stroller question

I just spent the morning wading through all the threads and most of my questions were answered, but I want to make sure.

We're going to DL in a couple weeks and the other day it dawned on me we needed a new stroller. She is 4 1/2, weighs 41 pounds and is 41-42" tall. Locally I'm pretty limited on places to try before I buy, so I'm putting all my trust on you. Only thing I could find in town was a jogger at Sam's and I think it will be too bulky. So I'm considering the Mac Volo. I've found them all over online for various prices in various patterns. I want to make sure she will be comfortable in it? She generally likes riding in the one we have now, she's just too big (her head is in the umbrella in the one we have now) and it's on it's last leg. I'm not too worried about her needing to recline, if she fallls asleep she should be fine with 5-point like in her carseat. DH is 6' tall (I'm 5'6") and I want to make sure he can deal with pushing it without being too uncomfortable. I'd rent except we'll be doing other touristy stuff on vacation in other towns and figured purchasing would be the best choice. I'm not too worried about her needing to recline, if she fallls asleep she should be fine with 5-point like in her carseat. So do you think this is my best choice. TIA!

We just bought a Volo for our DS who is the same age & size as your DD. I love Maclarens - I won't ever have another brand of stroller. They are made for taller people so your husband should be fine.

We have a Mac Quest and we love it. My ds is 56lbs and 44 inches. He fits in it just fine. He loves it! We tried the Volo but wanted a stroller that reclined. You should have no problem with it though. The seats are nice and the handles are nice and tall. Good luck in whatever you chose!

We have a Mac Volo and we all love it. DH is 6'3" and has never complained about pushing the stroller.

I bought a volo just for our disney trip last fall for my DS who was three at the time and weighed about 34 lbs. I absolutely love it and use it frequently on trips to the mall, parks etc. It is lightweight, very easy to fold- great for getting on and off the buses- and manuevered great in the parks. Before it I first had an Eddie Bauer and then a Peg Perego, both which went with us on Disney trips, I was far happier with the volo, and will be taking it with me again this fall. The only downside for me was that it doesn't have a cup holder.

Thank you all so much!!! Does anyone know how fast either barebabies or albee baby ship?? I emailed them and plan to call tomorrow to see who is faster. We leave 6/13. I know, nothing like waiting until the last minute. Anyway, Thanks so much for the speedy feedback!!!!

Albee is in NYC and generally ships with 24 hours of order from their warehouse in NJ. The closer you are to NY/NJ, the faster you'll get it. My Quest made it from Albee to Chicago in 4 days.

The Volo is the perfect stroller for your situation. I hope you love yours as much as most Mac owners love theirs.

Well I got mine ordered. First time I've ever ordered anything without actually seeing a version of it first. I called the dealer and talked to them about how long it would take to get here. She called the contacted and they said I'd have it by the end of the week. So I bit the bullet. Another company I emailed about shipping time and they said it wouldn't get here fast enough and expedited shipping would be around $100 because of it's weight and size. DD is thrilled she got the hot pink and black one she wanted too.
