I know questions regarding loops/sites are asked alot, so I apologize in advance for posting yet another loop question.

We are planning our second trip to the Fort and I am SO excited! I had originally planned to book a Premium site. However, dh likes being close to the marina. I had thought of loop 400, but see that it is a pet loop now. So, we are thinking loop 200 or loop 100. I did a search on both loops. I read that sites 122, 123, 124, 126 and 127 are good sites. However, I am worried about backing up to the road. The same with loop 200. I would prefer a site that is 1/easy to get into 2/has some shade and is wide enough/has no obstructions so we can use our awning and 3/does not back up to a road... I know thats a tall order.
Anyone been lucky enough to find a site in Loop 100 or Loop 200 that meets all or most of the requirements on my wish list?

I appreciate the input!

Thanks!

edit to add: we have a 34' travel trailer.

The end sites don't really back up to the road. The very end site does kind of back up to the road, but behind the camper is a space, then a sidewalk, then the road. The problem with the 100 loop, which is usually where I stay, is that it does not have many sites for larger rigs. I have a 38' MH w/ 3slides, awning, 4 door truck, and a 4 seater golf cart. The last stay I did in November, they stuck me in a site that was designed for sometime like a 30'. By the time I got everything situated to where no vehicle was on the dirt/grass, the rear of my motorhome was pressing against the bushes with my rear tires off the paved pad by several feet and on the sand.

My favorite site is 116, it is right next to the path to the Settlement Trading Post / FW Landing, but you still have privacy since your entry side is away from the path and it is long enough to handle any big rig.

I think 101,102,103 104, 105 are excellent sites. It's a short walk, around the back to the Trading post and Marina. Our 37' triple slide worked perfect on 103.

Taking notes, we are headed there in 36 days :cool1: with a 39' with 2 slides
