Hi, we're hoping to go on the Wonder in November 2006. DH would rather do the Sea part of the trip first, then the Land part after the cruise. I think Disney does it only the other way around. Can we book this on our own and do it the way we want? DH thinks its more expensive to do it on our own. Any ideas? Thanks, Barb :wave2:

It is almost ALWAYS cheaper to do it on your own, and much easier..You can plan and do it at YOUR convenience.. :goodvibes

For us, it turned out to be a little less expensive to book on our own, and not part of the package. Our first three cruises we did as packages, and the last one we arranged ourselves. This way, we were able to stay at Pop Century, and with the money we saved by staying at a value resort, we were able to afford a Category 7 room on the ship. It helps (at least for us) that we have Annual Passes to WDW, so that we don't have to pay for tickets to the parks. By doing it yourself, you're not locked into room/cabin combinations which are pre-selected by Disney.
