Another Invitation Thread!! Suggestions needed please!

Hey all! I know that there is an invitation thread around right now but I was wondering about those of you who ordered your invitations. Where did you order from? Did you pay a lot? How did they turn out?

I want to order the main part of the invite with the envelopes. However, then I want to add my own ribbon to them. If you order them with ribbon they are SO much more expensive so I'm trying to cut costs a little bit.

Can anyone help?

I haven't ordered any yet as I plan on making mine and adding the ribbon. I would look at www.mygatsby.com They have envelopements with the inserts etc. I think for aroun 300-400 for 50 with the responce cards and inserts and everything. Then you can add the ribbon. This is what I was going to do before I figured out I could just make everything (and it will make the time go by wuicker if I have projects!)

Skylarr- thanks for the website! How are you making yours? Are you doing it all yourself? I feel like I have no creativity and if I make them then they will turn out horribly. Haha.

I would love to hear what some people have had done by sassydesignco.com. I met with Shelley through Disney while I was at my planning session and was not excited by her ideas.

Well congrats! Nov 10 is my anniversary and we should be at Disney then for our 1 year trip, I will have to look for you!

Here is an example that I have been working on. I will print it on white cardstock, and then mount it on lavender metallic card stock to make a small border around it and then mount it on brown metallic card stock. Then I will add the lavender ribbon on the other side and put our monogram in the middle. I might print the M&R on the card stock and the wording on vellum. Ihaven't decided yet but soon I will start some test prints and see what I like and how the colors come out. I have also made a mock up of programs but I have no idea how I am going to print those yet.
