I have looked at so many hotel websites in the last 2 days that my brain hurts:lmao: I am really confused now! There will be 2 of us, myself and my DD (almost 15). I would like to be within walking distance & I want us to feel safe ;) My choices are:

Fairfield
Ramada Maingate
Carousel
Desert Inn

Can anyone give me more info to help me decide? Is the walk to Fairfield and Ramada Maingate about the same? Thanks so much for any and all opinions. Thanks, Cheryl :goodvibes

I love Desert Inn and Suites. We stayed there during our trip in November and I just booked it for our trip in September. The rates in my opinion are cheap for what you get. The rooms were big and very clean. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The walk to the park is a breeze, its pretty much right at the crosswalk into disneyland's main gate. I highly recomend this hotel.

I would do the Desert inn first. From the entrance it is only about 40 feet to the crosswalk into DLR. The Ramada Maingate is another 100 feet down the street. When walking these are not very big differences than the walk for the gates to Harbor.

The Fairfield is a little further than the Ramada but not by much. Of these three the distance from the Crosswalk to the hotel can double if you have a room in the back or front of the property.

Thanks, just booked Desert Inn & Suites :)

I also booked Desert Inn for our upcoming trip. My friend was booked at Fairfield but changed to Desert Inn because of the distance.
