So confused on how this works and I don't know why!!!

I'm confused by the "recommended increments for two."

For example, as far as theme park tickets go... it gives us a recommendation for 6. Is there 6 per person, or is that three each with a total of 6?

The around the world at Epcot tour says the rec. increments for two is 4....but the cost says they are $95 each....

This confuses me!!

For the bride and groom ears our rec is 1. So does my 1 include BOTH the bride & groom or should I put two as in 1 bride's ear and 1 grooms ear?

The honeymoon shoot... Honeymoon Photography Portrait Session
Estimated Total Cost says like $310, but it recommends 4 increments. Is the $310 for ONE photo shoot and it tells me 4 because that's how many someone needs to buy in order to get the one????

If that's how it works then I get that, but it doesn't make sense then for the Epcot tour??

So confused... HELP!!!

I don't think it really matters as I read in Carrie's book that any money people pay gets put onto a card and then you just use that to pay for whatever you want it doesn't have to be for what they picked. So for the ears you still have to go to the store and buy them and you just pay with the card instead of cash.

I think the increments work like this, Disney knows people aren't going to spend $500 on a gift so they suggest people pay $50 towards that gift therefore you need 10 increments of $50 to pay for it in total.

Okay I get it. So it's like people give money on a card towards the honeymoon to a certain extent so they FEEL like they are buying something. BUT, I can use the gift card on ANYTHING Disney related?

Yes, that's exactly right! I actually put a lot of things on the registry that I know I'm not going to buy but I thought people would want to buy for me (like bobblehead dolls, picture frame, etc.) Then we just get the money. Is that wrong!? ;) DFi kind of thinks we're scamming people and he doesn't really like it :sad2: ...but he will once I tell him how much extra cash we have to spend once we're there!

I set mine into lower increments so that I didnt look greedy lol...After people buy some then I will just add more to it...I ended up only putting things on there I really will do or buy that way if they ask me later I dont get put on the spot...

I don't think it's "scamming" anybody! Some people may not be able to afford some of the large incriments, and at least they feel like they are contributing to your honeymoon. I also put a bunch of the lower-priced items on mine too...but mainly for me to use to throw money on it myself, when I have an extra $5-$10 laying around!

Between me and my DF puting money onto it over the last 8 months, we already have our whole Disneymoon paid for!
