How many floors are there in the main lodge? We have a 1 bedroom reserved and I was wondering if they are on the upper floors or ground level or both? I requested a marsh view and i'd like to know which building to request. Anyone had a good view of the marsh/water and remember where you stayed?

The main lodge has 3 floors. We've stayed in 1 BRs several times there, in the main lodge and in Building 12, which is like an extension of the main lodge. The BEST view, by far, was from #1132.

Just don't take that room if you're going for Thanksgiving!

The lodge rooms can give you great views of the marsh and the marina. Here is the view from 1128

We just loved this room because it is a corner room and we got to see both sunrise

and sunset

from our balcony. And we got to see dolphins in the marina working to find fish food. (that is fish, that are food)

They would slap their tails against a school of fish... knocking them up to the shore line and retreive them for dinner.

Hope you have as great an experience as us.. :beach:

Note that there are NO ground level units at HH. Everything is elevated. In the main lodge building, the ground level is parking, and there is an elevator.

Any of the units on the right hand side of the Lodge (looking towards the front) would have good water views. Those on the left don't. We have stayed in 1128 before and it is a great unit.
