Hi..

I'm new to US/IOA - but been to USH a couple of times.... I'm now visiting US Orlando in a few weeks!!! :p

I've probably picked the worst week of the year, for a first visit!
I've planned to have one day at each park - and now I just need to decide what date for each park.

I have two (three) possible dates:
12/25 & 12/27 (could also choose 12/26 if it makes the crowds any better!)

I had originally planned on doing US on 12/25 and IOA on 12/27.
I don't know if the crowds will be much worse on the 27th?? My priorities are something with Despicable Me & Harry Potter ;)

I'm visiting with my mom, 11yo cousin and 81yo grandma (in a wheelchair)

So I need your help! What date would you choose to visit each park??

Thanks! :D

25-6-7.........i can't help you on that one as all the days will be busy in the park.

i can tell you one thing though.

go to guest services outside the park to buy the park ticket for 81 yo grandma.
peeps that are disabled/in a wheelchair won't be able to do many of the rides.
there is a discounted ticket for those peeps.

Hmm.. Okay! I just had a theory that people would be home on the 25th and celebrating christmas, so they wouldn't arrive at the parks until noon or later!? And that the morning with "light(er)" crowds would be more needed in IOA :p but I guess it doesn't matter what day in hell-week I go XD

Thanks for the info about the discounted ticket for disabled guests! I had no idea ;) I googled it, but it looks like it will turn out the same price? As I could see the discount was 15% off - and I actually think that buying online also takes 15% gate price tickets....?

yes, it should be 15% discount.

there are many that buy their tickets at the park.
if you buy tickets in advance online, you will see discounts that way also.

universal wants families to come to their parks.
for those that are elderly, w/c, etc, the discount is a nice thing to do for them.

this allows the entire family to be able to enjoy the park together even if some in the group are not able to enjoy the rides.
