Just got back Friday night from 4 night stay at CBR! Haven't stayed there for 5 years. It was very nice. Rooms looked great and we really enjoyed having the curtain between sink and bed area.
We arrived about 6 p.m. and the only request we got was for a non-smoking room. I didn't call/fax ahead of time like I usually do. We ended up in Jamaica Bldg. 43, second floor. Room #4338 which overlooked parking lot. Since we spend very little time in our room, the view didn't matter. It was very close to the quiet pool which was nice.
Enjoyed our stay at CBR but really missed a nice hot tub. The one at CBR is small, and in the middle of the themed pool. Also, this time it was hot but no jets. Last time we were there we had jets but it wasn't hot.
Check-in was smooth. However, they ran out property-wide of all AMEX pins and lanyards. CM said they would send them to my room when they got more in but I guess they didn't as we never got them.
Requested iron, ironing board and extra towels. All delivered quickly. Only ate one meal at food court--I had turkey wrap with slaw and my daughter had chicken strips. Both were very good.
Now that we are DVC members, we probably will never stay at CBR again. It was nice to be there one last time as this was the first Disney resort we ever stayed at.
