Another FP question

Hi! We are going to WDW during the very busy and hot 4th of July week.
When we go to AK, we hope to get there at opening and dh and ds would like to try EE but I am chicken so I thought I would head over to the Safari to get 3 FP for that while they wait and ride EE. Does anyone know when our return time for the Safari will probably be during this crowded time of year? I am just wondering because I do not want to go on the safari in the afternoon because it will be hot enough in the A.M., but am also wondering if ds and dh will want to ride EE again and we should fast pass that instead of Safari and then wait on line for Safari. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!!

Even though it will be busy, most people will be using their early morning FP for Everest I would think. So, I would say that your time for the Safari would be definately before noon. I might be wrong, but that is my guess.

We were in AK last year during the busy Jult fourth week. We did Ak on a non EMH day. Dh and kids went and did Dinosaur or something (can't recall at the moment) and I took the baby and picked up FP for safari and ride time was about an hour out. I too was concerned about getting a late in the day fp, but it was not a problem last year. You figure that you probably will be fine this year as well since even though EE may draw more to AK, you also have one additional ride to add to people's ride schedule.

Thank you for the quick responses. I know EE does add some unknowns to my planning in that what if ds and dh want to ride it again and I get the fast passes for Safari and we have to wait a couple of hours before we can Fast pass EE for them to ride a second time. I guess all I can do is try my best to come up with a plan and see what happens when I get there. Thanks again for your help!!
