I'm a Disney vet, but I'm overwhelmed with my current scenario.
My DD just recently became a Cast Member through the College Program. We are planning to visit her at the end of September and want to buy Florida Resident Annual Passes with her discount.

1. Can she buy these passes with her discount and also use the payment plan?
2. Do we have to wait until after purchasing these passes to make FP+ choices?
3. Does the Guest Assistance Card now tie in to FP+?
4. If we stay onsite (which is currently completely booked) then we don't need to have tickets to make FP+ correct?

Thanks for all of your help! I've been reading through hundreds of posts and am more confused then ever!

4. You need linked tickets to make FP+ selections whether you stay onsite or offsite.

I don't know the answers to your questions, but the first thing that came to mind was whether you reside in Florida? If not, you won't qualify for the resident deal even if she's living here. Each person must provide proof that they are Florida residents. And, they are very strict about that. From the site:

"Item(s) are priced for Florida residents only. All adults who will use Florida resident tickets will need to show proof of Florida residency at park entrance. For room reservations, proof of Florida residency is required at Resort check-in."

If you are Florida residents, then there is no problem. Just remember your drivers license, and you'll qualify for the discount.

We have homes in Florida and Illinois, so residency isn't a problem. We've gotten Florida passes in the past, but not combined with a cast member discount. Maybe that isn't even possible? My DD is already overwhelmed, so I'm trying to figure as much as I can out on my own. Having to buy the annual passes now really threw me for a loop.

1) I don't know - your daughter should call Disney Cast Admissions. The number is on the Hub if she searches 'discounted tickets.' The prices are there too.
2) Yes. You have to have an active ticket or ticket voucher to make FP+ selections.
3) No. The DAS (formerly GAC) works similar to FP+ but is separate. You can have FP+ along with a DAS return time.
4) Regardless of where you stay, you need tickets to make FP+ selections.

OP, there is no more GAC. The DAS is available for nonmobility-related disabilities, and allows you to get a return time equal to (or maybe 10 minutes less?) than the stand by time. It is to help guests who cannot handle a stand by queue for whatever reason, beside a mobility one that is.
