Another Fort question

I amlooking into a trip over the holidays but obviously the only sites with availability are pop-up/tent sites. If we end up renting a camper, is it possible to park that on the sight knowing we would not have full facilities?

Part of the ressie process includes telling Disney what you have (tent/popup/RV) equipment wise. They have sometimes put bigger units in partial sites (cheapest) but don't often do it. If you try to force an RV into a partial site you might get assigned a small site for you to put that large RV into. It won't fit and since the Fort will be full at Christmas you'll have few options none of which will be good. Some partial sites in loop 2000 are good-sized but you don't know for sure what you'll get. That's the risk you run.

If you're trying to do this on a budget then go with the pop-up rental from the "makecampingeasy.com" rental. It would be the cheapest RV rental most likely. Rent a Partial site from Disney (cheapest site but even then the holiday rates are up there). Since you're a tent camper you'll be happy. Sister will have the Comfort Stations to keep her happy. This will work.

But IMO I would not purposely rent a RV/trailer to put on a Partial site. Too many variables. But it's up to you and I'm sure it's been done before but I don't know what the percentages are.

Don't give up, good chance between now and then to get your required site type.
