another flying question for 1st time flyer

I will post this in the transportation thread too but I get so many more responses here...We want to fly Delta but I have heard they change flight times alot. With that being said...right now they have a great time for our departure but for our return flight I like the 10:35 flight which would cost $240 (including tax) per person; if I go with the 8 am flight its only $207 (including tax)per person. I liked the later time as we are traveling with young children. But, from what I have read, is it worth it to pay more for a better time that may end up changing? Or is it better to do the earlier time & hope that it will change? Whats your experience with this? And remember the trip isn't until December.

I would choose the later flight because you will need to be up way early to make the flight. And to get children ready on top of it. I usually go cheaper but in this instance it would probably worth the extra dollars for the extra time. Even if you purchase the early flight it has just as much of a chance of being changed

The early flight is on the return - so less time in Disney.

It is a tough call, but I'd likely go with the later flight. I don't fly Delta so I'm not sure how much they change their flight times by, but I suspect they won't move it that much later (given that there is another flight in just a few hours).

That's not a huge difference in price, and getting up early to leave is sooooo painful. Now why doesn't it both me as much to get up early to go WDW?

Happy to say, I booked the later flight. I am just so conservative when it comes to money that I needed some reassurance.
