They have them in new expected to be very long queues like FOP but it's really only certain types of rides and certain types of queues that it works in. You can't build attractions all like FOP where the queues end up in a very large structure and even then the bathroom doesn't come around until quite a ways in.Going forward, it would probably help a tiny bit, if Disney built bathrooms into the lines! Even if (shudder) it was a simple uni-sex stall.
Sad world and it’s getting worse
There's actually been numerous studies and a few books written about how we are currently living in the least violent time of human history. It just doesn't seem that way because, as you said, every single incident is just in our faces 24/7, it started with all news cable stations trying to fill the day with 24 hours of sensational headlines and now the internet and social media has amped it up to a thousand...Um no. This has always happened in the past but no one whipped out a camera and blasted it all over the internet like they do today. It gives you a skewed perception on how much it has occurred. Airplanes back in the 1970s were out of control with the level of sexual abuse that women took. Back then you were just supposed to "accept it" and Boys will be boys attitude. Now many people report it and some men haven't accepted that you need to clean up your act in 2022.
I read an account by a bystander who said matching shirt family was waiting outside and complained about cell phone lady ‘cutting in line’. He reported cell phone family said they didn’t want any trouble and tried to walk away. Then someone from matching shirt family called cell phone family terrorists, insults were shared between the groups and it deteriorated from there.Nobody really knows what happened, but your description is pretty much what people are saying happened. Watching the video, it looks like the cell phone family was not totally innocent. One man actually punched a woman in the face (the woman was white shirt family, and I am guessing man was from cell phone family). It looked like both groups were all fighting and hitting each other. The video is very confusing. I felt so bad for the cm's trying to contain it.
There are reports that matching shirt family waited for cell phone family outside the theater, so I am guessing they must have said something to cell phone family. If only cell phone family had walked away instead of fighting. Although we don't know who threw the first punch. If I had to guess I would think both families were banned, but I have only seen people saying the cell phone family was banned and kicked out of their hotel (Riviera) immediately after the fight. Maybe the matching shirt family was not staying on property.
I think installing new facilities would be very cost prohibitive. I don't believe most really care if a parent runs their kiddo to the potty or retrieves a forgotten item. Really not a big deal for most folks. IMOGoing forward, it would probably help a tiny bit, if Disney built bathrooms into the lines! Even if (shudder) it was a simple uni-sex stall.
He was with his partner. They spoke limited German. They said that they were sold a first class ticket but were not told that they needed to buy a seat. They were told they could sit in any available seat. Having experienced various levels of customer service in Germany (most people were GREAT but some were not) I can totally see this happening.Your example was odd and confusing, actually. He didn't "give up his seat" - he was asked to move from an assigned seat another party had purchased. How did he get in their seat to start with? Just board the train alone and plunk himself down? A very weird thing to do if the seats were actually assigned. Rather than just having the family who paid for the seats leave him in theirs and relocate themselves, why not physically assist the blind man to find the seat he actually paid for? Mobility is an issue for some people - I get that. But with support from others, he could very well have been taken safely to his own seat.

An emergency potty is a great idea.Going forward, it would probably help a tiny bit, if Disney built bathrooms into the lines! Even if (shudder) it was a simple uni-sex stall.
That's just as bad an insult as what we heard them call matching shirt family on the video. Good grief.I read an account by a bystander who said matching shirt family was waiting outside and complained about cell phone lady ‘cutting in line’. He reported cell phone family said they didn’t want any trouble and tried to walk away. Yes. And if true, it explains a lot. That's just as bad an insult as what we heard them call matching shirt family on the video.
Yeah, that is the main consensus as to what happened. If cell phone family had just walked away or went to get a cm for assistance, it could have ended with no fight and nobody getting banned. Even though cell phone family seemed to initially be the victims, their big mistake was engaging with matching shirts and fighting. We still don't know who threw the first punch though. For all we know matching shirt family maybe was just blowing off steam and had no intention of getting physical and cell phone family punched first. I'm sure the authorities have it all sorted, but we will probably never know. There was. a lot of blame and everyone involved acted irresponsibly.
It also gets sensationalized for political purposes. Everyone has an agenda. There's actually been numerous studies and a few books written about how we are currently living in the least violent time of human history. It just doesn't seem that way because, as you said, every single incident is just in our faces 24/7, it started with all news cable stations trying to fill the day with 24 hours of sensational headlines and now the internet and social media has amped it up to a thousand...
Agreed I've held complete strangers' place in lines so they could run their kid to the toilet. 99.99% of people are glad to help.I think installing new facilities would be very cost prohibitive. I don't believe most really care if a parent runs their kiddo to the potty or retrieves a forgotten item. Really not a big deal for most folks. IMO
Isn't that what the planters are for?An emergency potty is a great idea.
I imagine they had plenty of surveillance footage work with.Members of matching shirt family were arrested and no one from the other family was, so I’m going to say that the police sorted it out and found that the first punch was thrown by the people they arrested.
