I have enjoyed reading these so I thought I'd post ours for our half term stay at Hotel New York from 13/18 Feb.

HIGHS
- Ease of the disneyland express esp. the luggage service
- Comfort of the HNY and good breakfast
-Daughters face at the Auberge and princess pavilliion and the fantastic interaction that she had with the princesses. She is 2 1/2 and they really seemed charmed by her.
- The fact that I managed to get the cast members to agree to let us a 'guaranteed Belle visit at the pavillion (even though it is not officially allowed.
- My son's character interractions particularly at inventions. Just Magic.
- Dinner at New Port Bay at the restaurant where there is an adult set menu and kids buffets (more restaurants should do this combination
- PoTC and Phantom manor - both kids loved these as did we.
- hotel shopping service.
- Bufflo bill wild west show
- Following the princesses at the end of the parade alll of the way to Main Street USA

LOWS
- 6 days not enough time for us to use swimming pool lol :rolleyes1
- Food prices in general
- Elusive Disney Princesses (in particular why they cannot tell you which ones will be at the auberge when you book - this is surely possible)
- Coming home light in the wallet :)

Alll in all the most magical trip for us yet. My 5 year old son and 21/2 year old daughter had the best holiday ever :dance3:

Welcome back :goodvibes

would love to hear more about dinner in New Port Bay (TR or restaurant review).

6 days and no time for swimming pool? :lmao:

Welcome back - sounds like your lo's are the perfect age for character meets :goodvibes

Sounds like a great trip - I enjoyed reading :goodvibes

I agree about the set menu for adults and buffet for kids that seems like a really good idea!

Glad you had a good time! Any chance of a TR love princess photos!

Yes I think my little ones are the perfect age for character interaction. At what age do they get too old for it? (i need to squeeze another trip in before my son gets too old to enjoy it)!

I am a bit embarrassed about the fact we didn't use the pool, it looked like a lovely pool too! But we were having to much fun in the parks to be bothered with something we could do anytime at home!

I would be happy to do a TR (just wasn't sure that anyone would be interested!!) Also how on earth do you put photos on here?

Looking forward to reading a TR!

Welcome back :goodvibes

Sounds like a fab trip :thumbsup2

My DD1 was 3.5 our first trip, 4.5 our second, DD2 6 months first, 15 months ish second. In particular DD1 just had a magical time :lovestruc

This coming trip DD1 will be just turned 7 and DD2 just turned 4 so we are looking forward to a magical trip :wizard:. Having said that, I think DD1 is just starting to turn the corner of Princesses, but I may be wrong.... I guess we'll have to wait and see. In my eyes this is DD2's first 'proper' trip - it will be amazing for her .

Re photos - you need to use photobucket or the like then paste the html links into your post from there - that is how I do it.

Look forward to the TR :thumbsup2

Glad you had a great trip too! I really like the way the Princess' walk in the the parade too. They stopped right where we were standing to watch the parade; at age 35 I was far too excited about this, my son could care less :rotfl:

I wouldn't worry about the swimming, we spent 5 days there in the summer and another 5 days now and are still yet to see the pool in the New York

welcome back, sounds like you had a fab time! Thanks for sharing, love reading highs and lows :goodvibes
