So we just got back from our little vacation. Here is our music video that we made. Getting younger kids to sing while vacationing WITHOUT making it seem like work was tough but we managed to pull it off. Enjoy.

One question....how do you get the kids to lip sync properly so that the sound overlay will be proper when doing the edit? I mean how do the little ones even know the words, much less the pacing, emotion, etc?

Great video!! You have a beautiful family! I do have a question

We are planning on doing a video similar to this for our DCL cruise in January. Our parents are taking our family & my sisters family on a cruise for their 40th wedding anniversary and we want to get a video made for them as a thank you. Our plan right now is to use the song "smile" by Uncle Kracker. And we have someone willing to actually edit & make the video for us. My question is, I noticed you used different video equipment to shoot it. If you were going to go out and buy one device that gives you the most bang for your buck, simple to use and durable what would be your choice. Thinking of investing in a new video camera for this, not sure if our older camera will be the best to use.

our kids already knew most of the song. we would then have it playing on an iPhone in our pocket or nearby fort hem to "sing along" with.

the hardest part was not stressing out over if they got it just right or not. "close enough" is perfect.
