I just got word that CTMH is going to have their huge clearance event Aug 4 - 11th. ALL of their paper packs will be on clearance - Level 1 for $4 (reg. 9.95), Level 2 for $6 (reg. $12.95) and Stickease collections for $2 (reg. $4.95).

As an FYI, the Zippidee line is great for Disney, and should go on clearance too.

What is CTMH?

It's a paper and stamping company, similar to Creative Memories. They have consultants who sell products and have get togethers.
They have gorgeous paper! I bought some last year at a weekend crop for my Hawaii page (tough pic to scrap). Anyway great quality paper.
I haven't had a chance to use their stamps and ink yet but would love to

here is a link to their catalog:

With Close to My Heart, they have 2 different levels of paper packs - Level 1 and Level 2.

Level 1 paper is to allow you to put your pages together quickly and easily. You have a patterned piece of paper that already has a "layout" built in, so with the included stckers, you can just add pictures and some stickers and quickly finish. (one Level 1 paper pack has the supplies to generally put together 2 2-page layouts - 8 pieces of paper total plus 2 sheets of stickers(so 4 12 x 12 scrapbook pages). Not bad for the clearance price of $4.

Level 2 is patterned (on both sides) and solid papers. You can design your own layout, and also they sell matching embelishments - ribbons, buttons, stamps, stickers, brads and more. (one Level 2 paper pack has 12 patterned pages and 10 solid color pages (usually 2 each of 3 coordianting colors, and 4 white pages). I can normally put together at least 3 2-page layouts out of each Level 2 paperpack. Also, with the clearance price, including the stickers, works out to about $1.35 per 12x12 page.

Close to My Heart become addicting though. My girlfirends all use Close to My Heart products, and after 1 weekend scrapbooking with them about 3 years ago, I was converted and now must of my scrapbook budget goes to Close to My Heart (also, those weekends have MADE me buy a Cricut, endless cartridges, and who know what else). I tell my husband how inexpesive my weekend girlfriend trips are, but i you add on all the things I feel I NEED to have after those trips, the cost goes up significantly.

i know i'm excited too! My consultant had her own mini-convention for her club members yesterday and she gave us all the scoop. i will so be on my computer when that sale opens up. they must have TONS of paper packs to clear out.

I just went thru all the past 2 years idea books, plus my paper packs today to try to decide what I want to get, and made my list.

For me, the exciting thing is that before, I was mostly scrapbooking for a baby/toddler boy (DS, now 3), but with a new DD, I view all the "girl" type paperpacks in new light, and I WANT THEM.

I still can't believe the brand new stuff from the Summer 2010 cataloge will go on clearance too. I will be buying the Zippidee for our Jan 2011 WDW trip.

Now all I have to do is hope my daughter cooperates so I can be on my computer at exactly 9 am MDT Wednesday. She has not coordinated with my grand plans to work on scrapbooking while on maternity leave (mostly because I'm too tired to focus during the day and clean the kitchen, catch up on laundry, or do other exciting things during her naps), but her naps have allowed me to get a bit more organized for when I'm ready to tackle some of my projects again.

katied -- how did you go? my internet was down for 3 hours after the start of the sale! bad storms passed through Ohio...anyhow, i got all I had planned except for Magic Moments Level 2. picked up stickease for packages i already have and several Level 1. My goal is to crank out some pages/albums this winter :teeth:

I wish I had a catalog - although lately too much of my money has been going to Stampin UP! I'm supposed to be saving for a cruise!

Edited to say Thanks for posting that on-line catalog - it was easier to use than most - and I now have a wish list. drat.

I got everything I wanted - online at 10:02 am yesterday (central time). I realized the latest 4 (zippidee included) were not on sale, but are still set to be retired this year, so I'm waiting to see if they go on sale later. I checked last night and some of the stuff on my list is sold out, so I was happy. I got the stickease for a lot of my packages, and also picked up some of the cute "girl" type packages so I can start scrapping for my new DD (I also got some Level 1 - recognizing that with a 1 mo old and 3 yr old, plus full time work again starting next month, scrapbooking time is at a premium and some shortcuts are not bad). Glad it worked out for you too.
