OMG - we leave for the World in less than two weeks. I'm beginning to feel the panic come on!!! I am planning on renting an ECV daily at each park that we visit. I was thinking of renting from a company, but my mom is bringing her ECV from home, and that will make a very crowded hotel room and challenging bus availability. My ECV needs are due to back issues and sad knees, so I can walk some, just not the super long distances that will be required.

Anyway, there will likely be some days that other family members will be getting to the parks prior to me (I do not do rope drops). So the question is, can a family member reserve an ECV for me prior to my arrival, and then I pick it up at the park when I get there later in the morning?

Thanks for any assistance!

Hi and :welcome: to disABILITIES!

An ECV cannot be reserved at a park. However, someone can rent one and meet you at the gate with it. They would use it until such time as you got there.

What hotel are you staying at? When I stayed at Boardwalk Inn last month I left my rented ECV (from Buena Vista Scooters) with bell services at night -- they even charged it for me. Of course, I always tipped both on leaving it and pick-up.

We are staying at All-Star Movies. I also don't want to have the added complications of trying to have to ECV's loading on the bus at the same time. I think on the days my brother gets to the parks before the rest of us, he can rent the ECV and just hang onto the key until I get there. Thanks for the helpful advice.

Now, I just need to start packing!!!:goodvibes
