Another ebay? Ebay or garage sale???

I'm getting a bunch of my children's clothes together and would like to sell some on ebay. (I've been buying since 1998...now it's my turn to start clearing out!!) How do you decide if it's worth posting on ebay or better to just unload at a garage sale? I'm thinking the nicer stuff, whole outfits, better names (Gap, Disney, etc) are better for ebay and loose items, misc t-shirts, pajamas, etc. that are a little more worn are better for a garage sale. Am I on the right track?

Yes, thats a good idea. Anything in excellent condition esp. brand names sell on eBay. Even with the listing price you are much more likely to get more than at a garge sale. Those odds and ends and play clothes I would just sell at the garge sale. I'm always so surprised at how much I get for my daughter clothes. More than once the bidding went past what I paid to begin with! Good luch

Log into Ebay and do a few searches of clothing brands that you have and then click over on the left the box for "Completed" auctions. This will give you an idea what things are selling for. Most people around here at garage sales sell for $1.00 or less for clothes so Ebay would be the way to go if you have shipping materials.

Definitely brand name good condition clothing goes on ebay. The rest put in the yard sale.

Also if you have items in the same size sometimes if you put a group/lot on you can do really well too.
