Another Disney Visa Reward question

So, how can I use my rewards to pay for the trip that has been charged to my account? I have over 440 points and would like to apply them to the trip cost (around $2500). It's already been charged to the Visa.

You cannot use your rewards to pay your Visa. If it's already been charged, then you need to use your rewards for something else. You can pay for your meals and souveniers wiht it but once it is paid off, there is nothing you can do short of upgrading your tickets or room using your points.

If you've already paid in full for the trip, I don't think that you can. Normally, you would need to transfer the points to a rewards card and then use the rewards card to make a payment on the balance. Since there is no existing balance, you won't be able to do that.

You can still use the rewards dollars to make souvenir purchases, pay for meals and snacks or other extras at WDW when you're there.

Thanks for the replies! I'll use the card to pay for two OOP dinners and some other "stuff."
