another disney glitch

it gets frustrating and you wonder how a billion dollar industry can have such a lousy website, technology wise. they seem to have a lot of problems though it does seem better than years ago. i go to check in and the site comes up there is no reservation to check in to. the reservation is right there in my MDE and the "start check-in" icon is right there and my booklet says aug. 2 i can check-in

no big deal since i'll do it later. online check-in is not a "must do" but it does get frustrating. i feel for those that encounter glitches that do have importance like ADR's, fastpasses where time is a factor in getting what you want

I am seeing it as well. I saw in my resort specific thread that there were new choices for requests, so I thought I would take a look and I get the same error.

Their web site has been lousy since its inception. In both content and execution.

I don't particularly like it when I have issues with MDE...though I only use it for FP+ since we don't dine or stay there. On our recent trip, FP+ was down one day for about 4 hours. It stinks.

However, I try to also realize how immense the undertaking must be for them to create software that can handle the amount of volume that I'm sure their website(s) have, as well as have security for the endless hackers who try to invade it. I don't envy their IT dep't. No matter how much money and/or human resources they throw at it, I'm sure it's going to encounter issues.

Then I think about all of the other sites I have been to in the past week, and how many had problems. And the ones that had problems? They don't have near the traffic the Disney site has.
