A Cm today mention that I could add our two yr old on our resevastion today as a 3 yr old . for 105.00 for 3 nights 4 days . She said you can use her tickets another time and just use her meals there .

BUT wouldn't I ONLY be able to get kids meals with it ?I was asking this cause we have a friend getting us in for the 4th day we are there and If you can use the dinning anyway then it could be out food for the 4th day .

Dose this make sence ???

Also as a couter service meal a child meal is it true you can get an adult couter meal for a child ?

thanks

Some CMs have been quoted as saying that if you get the dining plan for a child($10 per day) you can only use it to get kids meals, BUT I have not read a SINGLE trip report that confirms this. Everyone to date has been able to use Child credits on ADULT meals. But be aware that if a CHILD is at the table then that child must order from the kids menu if on the plan.

At Counter service places the entire party does not need to go upto the counter and order food. Most send the dad and he orders for the entire party, so the person taking order has NO IDEA who is eating and what age they are.

Kids under 3 eat free. You list her as a 3 year old then you have to pay at the buffets and the all you care to eat restaurants. You have her listed as 3, a CM might even require you actually use her ticket for park admission.

There are rumors that Disney is going to start separating adult and child credits.

Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Ok, how is the CM at the gate going to know how your child is listed on your ressies? I'll answer my own question- They will not know. Same goes at the buffets, they ask you the childs age. They don't look up your room ressies, even if they did how would they know your 2 year old is the same child? Could be a cousin, friend, and so on. Don't be silly. Of course you can do this.

As for meal credits being separated, agian silly, a nightmare to impliment and never done in the past. Some people act like the MYW dining is the first time Disney has made a food package avaliable. Not so, they have had them for many years and always the meal credits have been pooled.

$105 for your fourth days meals and a ticket for your next visit is a great deal. The entire $105 is in the ticket so you are getting free food in exchange for buying a ticket early. It wouldn't make sense to not do it.

What would worry me is in the future. If you went back in 8 years, wouldn't their records show that she's now 10?

Nope, not a problem. I know this because my DH is always getting my youngest's DOB wrong. I had to fix it on our health insurance cards! He had given a wrong DOB/age for her last year. This year when I made our ressies my kids were still in the system but they didn't have ages for them. I had to resupply them (correct this time).
