Another dining plan question

I know I've read this somewhere before, but I can't find it now. If I buy the dining plan, it will be for 2 adults and 2 children. If we go to a signature restuarant can I just pay for the kids meals and use 4 sitdown credits for me and my DH? Just wondering, because we love LeCelliar!

Yes, you can do that. Just tell your server prior to ordering that you want to use meal credits for the 2 adults, and that you're paying separately for the children.

Does that mean that the kids credit can apply to the adults credit, instead of taking away 4 sit down meals from the adults? If so this is GREAT! I have booked Spoodles instead of LeCellier just for this reason. I would love to be able to eat at LeCellier and not have to use extra sit downs for the adults!

Yes, when you check in, all meals are pooled together - so all members of your party can access them. So you can technically use their share of the credits from the pool for adult meals and pay separately for the children. Just be sure to tell your server to use how every many meals from the plan and that you're paying separately for the children. They will give you a receipt that shows how many are deducted/remaining, and a separate bill for the childrens' meals.
