Another Dining Credits Question

I think I have this figured out but I'd appreciate if someone could confirm it for me, please. Just so we know what to expect.

Adult TS credits are "pooled" together so it wouldn't matter if DH used one of mine?
For one day, DS12 & I are going over to IOA while DH stays with DS5 & DD5 at the resort for a quieter-than-normal-day. They will eat at Boatwrights and use 1 ad. & 2 ch. TS credits.

Another day DH & DS12 are doing the Dine w/ Imagineer and using 2 ad. TS credits each. I will eat CS with DS5 & DD5. (we always end up with several CS credits at the end of our stay so we're trying to use them better this time!)

The last morning we have breakfast at 'Ohana and we will only have 1 ad & 2 ch TS credits available. I figured we can use those credits available and pay OOP for the 2 adults that we don't have credits for?

This will work IF a) It doesn't matter which adult is actually using which adult TS credit and b) A party of 5 can use 3 DDP credits and 2 OOP to pay for a meal together.

Does this make any sense? Because DH thinks I'm wrong....

YOU are correct! It doesn't matter who uses the credits as long as they are staying in your room. So technically you could starve your DH the whole trip and you and the kids can eat all of his meals!

Dine with an Imagineer is a special dining program and is not included in the dining plan. The Disney website is very confusing on that matter but they should expect to pay for that meal.

Thank YOU!! I had assumed that it was on the dining plan since they asked if I wanted to guarantee it with the DDP when I made the online ADR. and the Brown Derby was on it as Signature Dining.

Thanks to you, my DH will not be surprised when he gets to the ADR and needs to fork over $140.

My lesson learned to is check-double check-and-Disboard check EVERYTHING!

they could have changed it since last year, they have changed a lot of things. But this usually was not available on the dining plan. He can ask when he gets there, and if things have changed he will be able to use the credits.

It's not prepaid - you put down a credit card for a guarantee and pay for it when you get there - so there woudn't be any reason to guarantee it with the dining plan at all, that's only really applicable to CRT and dinner shows.
