Another Developer Points ?

Do I have to use up my developer points "evenly?" Or if I don't have quite enough for the reservation I want to make, can I combine them with some of my regular points? (Of course assuming that I'm making the reservation at 7 months out.)

Yes, you can combine with you regular points. That is exactly what we did to make a reservation for the end of July.

Make sure that you check your account to verify that all of the developer points are used before the regular points. I know of a case where MS accidentally left behind some developer points. The member didn't know it until he tried to book another resi at his home resort at 11 months.

Yes both last October and this May are a mixture October was one dat with regular the rest with dp's and one night in May is even a mix of developer points and regular points!

Question, do you guys see your developer points on the dvc member website in combination with your regular points. Mine shows no evidence of the developer points AT ALL and it really worries me that we might show up this summer and have no room, even though we got a paper confirmation (doesn't indicate that they are developer) This worries me.

No developer point reservations will not show on the DVC members website. Our May reservation is not showing at all and that is a mix of regular and developer points, the regular points actually show as a transfer out.

Thanks Claire. That really soothes my nerves. Dealing with Developer points has felt more like a hassle to us than a good incentive. It took months to finally receive our paper confirmation and it is a major headache if you want to make ANY kind of change to those reservations.
