Another Croc's question....

Ok, after reading about everyone just loving their Crocs. I thought i'd better get me a pair for our trip in September.

I haven't actually tried any on yet, i've just been looking online. Usually I like to wear trendy, fun shoes but for our trip I want to be comfortable.

I have some questions about a couple of Crocs though.

I really like the way the Scutes look but i'm wondering if they are practical. I haven't been to DW in 10 years, but i'm pretty sure I remember there being some rides where your feet dangle freely. If so, are you worried your backless shoes are going to fall off?

The Cayman's seem like they would be the most comfortable, but I don't really care for the way they look...

Do you think the Mary Janes would be good to wear while you are there? Or should I say screw the way I look and go for the less attractive Cayman's?

What do you think? BTW, I can't wear the ones w/the thing between the toes, those bother me. Any other cute but comfy ones?

My DD just bought the Patra and loves them. They have two straps going across the top. She bought the cleo, but they didn't fit her. The Patra were expensive, $40.00, but they look a lot more stylish than the traditional Crocs. You can go into Crocs.com and check them out.

I have 2 pair of the Cleos, and I love them. They never feel like they're going to fall off, they're very comfortable, and they are more attractive than the Cayman.

I prefer Nile which are sandals with a strap in the back. Nothing between the toes. Some people say the ridge under the toes bothers them but it's never bothered me and I wear the ALL SUMMER EVERYWHERE! I absolutely love them and have them in several colors.

I have the Mary Janes and they are very comfy. They don't slide or fall off either. I plan on wearing them on our trip!

I would recommend the clog-style for a lot of walking. I have Mary Jane's and clogs. The MJs are cuter, but don't have as thick of a bottom and don't seem to have the same support as the clog-style - they feel more fitted, which could also mean more rubbing. I've ordered a pair of Scutes and I hope they have the same footbed as the clog because they seem like they'd be a lot cooler (and better looking).

I found a store that sold them close to my house to see if I liked them or not. I wear a size 7 shoe, and the 6 in Crocs were huge on me! I found that I have very narrow feet. The Crocs only fit if you have wide feet!!!! I tried on the Athens, Mary Janes and the regular ones and they were all too wide!!!

The Prima Ballerinas will fit you, but they aren't study enough for walking at a park. They are hard to find - there might be a Crocs cart at a big shopping mall that has them.

I just got back from Disney this week and I took my Athens and my Mary Janes. I only wore my Athens one day because I had to take them off for a couple of rides like Soarin'. I wore the Mary Janes the rest of the trip and had no issues with blisters or foot aches. I would reccomend the MJanes for your trip!

I have Athens (flip flops), Caymans, Disney Beach, Mary Janes, and Cleo. I haven't worn the Cleos to WDW yet, but they are very comfy for walking around town. I would rank them in the following order for comfort in the parks:

1. Disney Beach- the most cushioning and overall comfort
2. Cayman- almost as good as Beach, but a bit narrower, so they rubbed a bit
3. Mary Jane- not as much cushioning in the sole- by the end of the day, I could feel the pavement under my feet. OK, but I prefer Beach or Caymans in the parks
4. Athens- Lots of folks LOVE them, but I think the between-the-toe stingy is too thick

I just went to the Crocs website and saw a new style of crocs for
people with foot problems CroxRX. There were 3 different styles with
extra cushion on sole and heel. They were not listed with the rest of
the footwear but were in there on catagory in the buttons at the top of the
page. Hope this helps.

I want to get a pair - I love the look. Bloomingdales is supposed to have them, but ours doesn't. Shoebuy.com has the red and silver available. I'm tempted to buy them to see how they fit because they do free returns.
