Another Crazy Crocs Question

Thanks to the boards I broke down and bought dd and myself a pair of Disney Crocs. I always thought they were ugly - amazing you add Mickey Heads to them and they are the best thing going.

My question is, how long to break them in?? I bought them for Christmas and due to snow we have yet to wear them. Our trip in in 3/4 weeks. Wondering time frame wise how long to break them in for our trip? Do you wear them with sock or without?

I haven't worn my Crocs to Disney but I've had a pair for several months... IIRC, they don't have to be broken in like Birkenstocks, you just put them on and wear them. In fact, I wear mine around the house constantly. We have hard wood throughout the downstairs and it makes my feet hurt. With the Crocs on, no problem.

I also don't ever wear socks with mine (personal choice) and my feet don't sweat in them, but usually sweat in other shoes.

I've always found the crocs to be comfortable right away. I would think in a day or two they would be comfy for you. I wore them all last summer with no socks. When winter came I quickly got over the "no socks with crocs" mentality I've worn them all winter except for the few days it was just to wet and icy. Maybe you can break them in wearing socks and when you get to Disney you won't need the socks.

If you are flying I would recommend socks with your crocs just so you don't have to walk barefoot at security when you have to remove your shoes.
