Is it true that Disney started to make another country in epcot and then stopped. if so what country was it? did they finish?

australia? I've never even heard of that rumor. and i worked there! there was talks to make a Israel. I had a link to a site that had all info and production art for the planed and promoted countries that were going to be built but never where. the only one that showed up in any kind of form was equitorial africa which now exists as a far cry from it's stunning concept as the outpost

One of the things we learned in the backstage tour is all of the countries are paid for by a corporation or the tourism buraeu of that particular country. Therefor, that is what determines what is or isn't built
