Another code ?

Hi everyone,
With the new method Disney uses to calculate your room price I can not figure out how room discount codes work. Specifically here is my question--
Say I am arriving on a Saturday for 5 nights at the Polynesian, but the discount code is not effective until Sunday- What happens to the discount. Will I only get a discount for the four nights, none at all or do I have to make a one night reservation plus an additional four night reservation??

You would have to book two separate reservations. One with the discount and one without.
