another bounceback question...

I haven't seen this answered anywhere! Are bouncebacks usually just for exactly a year ahead?

Example: We are headed to WDW with the family at the end of September 2010 but want to take a 20 year anniversary trip in Feb. 2011. If we get a bounceback, will it only be for fall of 2011? Does it specify, or can you bounceback ANYTIME the following year?

Bounceback offers that are in the rooms have limitations on when they can be booked.

It is not necessarily for the timeframe you are staying, but typically are not for more than a year out.

When we were there in December, the offer was a discount off rooms for most dates in 2010 (with some blackout dates included).

My bounceback offer wasn't in the room but my email. It was for 45% off Villas (excluded 3 bedroom) various dates through Sept 30

40% off Deluxe for various dates through Dec 24

35% off Mod for the same as Deluxe.

It didn't list the Values. We were booking a mod so it didn't matter for us. I assume they are available as well.

We were at WL.

That was going to be my other question, does it matter WHERE you are? We will be at ASMU, but wanting to go to BWI for our Anniversary trip. The only bounceback I saw in 2008 was at Pop and it was FOR POP the following year.

Guess I'll have to wait and see!

supposedly it should be in all resorts! I received an email 2 days prior to check out (didn't know until I got home but I knew of the bounce back offer) If I didn't know of the offer here, I may not have known of it. My daughter did get the email while there (she has a blackberry) I had one odd/kind of nasty CM to do my booking (actually a change from a 30% PIN to the 35% bounceback) Have the information right in front of you . I called 8844 to book, they wanted the code and all that the flyer stated! They told me that they have hunreds of codes! Well, after I got that and changed the reservation, they said they needed my current res. number which I didn't have at my fingertips! They had me on hold for over 5 minutes for that and said they called the front desk for it. My daughter got a more normal CM and had no problem and didn't need the current res. #. The ext is 8844 and code is OKR. I guess if you don't have email while onsite and no flyer in the room-out of luck!!

forgot to answer it doesn't matter which hotel you are staying now or where you book for the bounceback. We were at WL booked CBR.

I just wanted to mention that for the last 2 years the BB that was offered to resort guests in September (and went through most of October) was to be able to book a Free Dining BB package ahead for the next year's Free Dining dates. So unfortunately, if that is the same BB offered again this year, you will not be able to book February dates to BB to.

For example, last year the BB that started on 8/16/09 and expired on 10/24/09 was to be able to book FD ahead for 8/15-9/30/2010......

Of course, it could be different this year! Here's wishing some pixie dust for you
