Another borrowing question

We've got five nights booked for F & W. First night is BWV and the next four are PVB. If I waitlist night #2 for BWV and it comes through I'd be saving 6 points but since they're borrowed from 2015 (Dec use yr) member services is telling me they'd go into holding, which, would be dumb since I'd never be able to use the 6 prior to Dec and I'd never be able to sell or transfer...correct? I'd rather keep the points too.

We went into the planning of this year's trip wanting PVB (well, maybe we wanted BCV or BWV, but the wife is a POLY rat from the 70's so it was a good alternative) and I managed to piece it all together one waitlist night at a time basically. We ended up deciding to fly out on Saturday so I grabbed us OKW (there was nothing left for 10/17) and I waitlisted BWV and PVB. Today the BWV came in, and suddenly the two of us got the Epcot Resort itch and starting talking about doing two at BWV and three and PVB which led to me calling MS...

So...is it true that the 6 points I'd save would stay in the 2014-15 use year and have to be used or sold before Dec 1?

Hard choices huh? BWV or PVB. 70 days and counting!

Also, If I waitlist PVB for 10/17 and it comes in would the points from BWV go into holding?

Holding isn't actually the issue yet - that would only happen if they waitlist filled at 30 days or less before your stay so there's well over a month until that would happen. But your banking deadline for a Dec UY was July 31st so it still leaves the points in this UY.

If you wait listed the Poly its almost certainly more points and assuming you banked any unused points from this UY then it would require borrowing to fill. Again, your not in any point holding window quite yet but that shouldn't leave any stranded points and instead would require more.
