Another Band Thread......

I know this is just another band thread, even though they are the best of all, but I want to let everyone know this. I will not be on for a while, maybe Saturday afternoon, I'm not sure if I'll have time. But my marching band has been working so hard and long since August. At least 75 hours if not more since August 8th. We've finally finished memorizing our routines and 4 songs barely and we will be rehearsing for 3 hours tomorrow to make sure we have it down. Our first show is coming up this Sunday. This is my first show too and I am psyched! I was just hoping if you can all wish us luck. Everything will be done with in only like one month. Pretty much a competition a week. But like I said, we have been working so hard and we can use any support available. Thanks!

We've been working hard too... We just put the 3rd and last song to drill/routines/playing on tuesday night for the first time. We are finally finished! Now it's just polishing up everything. hehe

I'm barely on now.........

I know, I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. We have an hour and a half on Sunday before we need to leave. Through that time, we need to be able to go through the whole show with no stops, and learn how to get on and off the field. I also need to spend some time today making sure I have all the music down.

The college i go to is playing Pat Metheny stuff... our first show is Saturday... finally get to show off our drumline

we played some Pat Methany stuff for our indoor drumline show last year. It was amazing.






Today is our 3rd competition. Last week was our festival so we didn't place but we still got scored. We've been working on our show since May. We have 5 movements, which is A LOT to take on becuase 98% of all bands only do 3. Good luck to all!

Stupid rain yesterday! It made us not get to march. I really wanted to. Instead all the bands just stood in a formation in a gym and played. And we had the only stupid band who marked time during it. We got 3rd of 4 in our division. Our next one will be in 2 weeks, so I'll wait till then.

cool, we have about 1/2 of our closure on the field and our competiton is next week. i really wish i could ask you guys if you have heard of us and maybe you have, but alas i can't

You can tell people where you are and not be banned. But if someone knew where you were from then they can stalk you or such. You have to do bad things like find a way to sware outside "Curse Obliterator."
