It was a long night for OCSD and Reedy Creek FD.The holiday decoration competition is heating up. The people in the 1600 loop ordered a hit on all other sites with decorations
Judy’s site was the worst and here is the aftermath

But they bagged Santa to keep him quiet.

Did she blow another circuit? I hear she's borrowing power from the trading post.

Who would they have gotten to handle the hit??

Do you know anyone driving around the fort all night???

:confused3

I heard from a bus driver who heard from a lifeguard who heard from a friend that a friend next to Judy that the hit was put out those (who remain unnamed) in the 1600 loop.

This looks like it belongs in the RIP thread. :lmao:

I can't even get mine to inflate properly. No need to send a hit squad to my house, we're already DOA.

Wait until CAP and TRADE passes! The days of having enough electricity to have decorations will be over and this will be the scene all over the US. I also bet Disney will become "green" way before that and start evaluating the carbon footprint the Fort makes during Christmas, Halloween, etc and levels a surcharge. :hippie: Peace comrades. Its a change you can believe in.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think there was a previous thread and post about what someone's good ole' Southern grandma would do to these folks once we catch them......

Tis the season......:santa:

Is this... normal? I mean, do people go around doing this?

Now I will say that a few years ago, my parents were spending some time at FW and the person in the space next to them had SO many bright decorations -- which they left on all night -- that it was bright as day in the black of night even when my parents had their blinds drawn. I thought that was kinda inconsiderate...

Meanwhie, someone mentioned earlier the possibility (eventuality) of a surcharge based on usage. Wouldn't that be... um, kinda fair? I mean, obviously, it costs more to light up a bunch of decorations than a "non-decorated" site would... so wouldn't a surcharge be just kind of evening things out and making people pay their fair share?

It's all very... odd to me.

I feel like Spock, observing human behavior and shaking his head while muttering, "fascinating."

:)

I'd heard rumors that Osbourne Lights would one day be replaced, now I guess we know what with...

I wonder if Kenny has considered how much he could make renting extension cords in addition to GCs? :lmao:

2 complainers VS thousands of happy guests. The fort actually makes sure the decorators get their sites every year so kinda doubt it's a problem to them. Sorry, but you lose.

:confused3 Did I miss something?? I love the decorations, the trick or treating, cart parades, everything campers do contributes to making the fort more magical than any hotel room. Don't know where you read a complaint from me...
