and that might be the fact that i was like in third grade instead of 4.

Well, 9/11 ruined my life, so I don't really think that I will do anything that day. Also, don't you all think that it is weird that we get off of school for a presidents birthday, but don't get off for a day that ruined peoples lifes?

Every 9/11 since the attacks I've thought about it.
I don't think about it on a daily basis like alot of people who were affected by it are forced to.
I wasn't directly affected by it, but I do pay my respects to those who were.
There's usually a moment of silence in most public places (similar to rememberance day)

I've always thought we should get off for that.

Quite honestly I think when people say that, they're just looking for an excuse to get out of school. They may say other reasons, but deep down, that's really the only reason.

Yes, it was an absolutely horrible thing, and I will never ever forget it, but I live for the future, I don't dwell on the past. Sure, I'll remember it..? I think about it almost every day, but I'm not going to sit and mourn over it. Its over and done with. It should still be remembered, but we shouldn't have to make the day all depressing.

I'm doing nothing that day. It'll just be a normal day, except with us remembering lives lost.

9/11 hit my area pretty hard.
There will probably be a moment of silence during school, and I'll wear red white and blue. I won't get in everyone's face about it, though.
