Another AP question

I asked a question last night and got so many quick answers I went ahead and ordered my AP...but of course not without a problem.

I did it so quick I put in my new married name - and not my hypenated name to include my name on my DVC card. (put SMITH not JONES-SMITH as I should have). I emailed the AP email address the second I realized it...but of course I decided to come to the experts until I hear from WDW.

Does the voucher come with a name on it? Can I just bring my marriage certificate (and ID in both names) to straighten this out or do I have to redo the whole thing?

It shouldn't be a big problem. It's been a while since I purchased a voucher, but I dont remember a name specifically being on the voucher, but it may be linked in the computer system. The bigger question would be what name the DVC membership card is under. If your membership is under your unmarried name, I'd bring some ID, maybe an old drivers license, along with ID for your married name.

Guest Relations can fix all name problems and even reissue an AP if needed. I have a different last name than my DH. DS has his last name but they used mine on his AP. I let it go but they did say they would fix it.

Our GAC had my first name with DS first name as my last name. It said April Hunter....oh well, it must have been a rough day for the CM.

When you trade the voucher in for your AP at guest relations you give them all your information and you must show an ID or drivers license. Don't worry about the voucher.
