I'm sure that this has been covered in other threads, but I just can't remember. Are the CM's that help you unload your luggage the same one's that take you to your room? If not, how much to tip for unloading and again for escort to room?
On our several trips to WL we have taken either Mears Shuttle and lately Town Car services. We have never had the same person unload our baggage from the car/van that took it to our room. They have taken the baggage from the car to a storage area and then when we get our room we phone the bell captains desk and they will deliver the baggage to our room.
It's just DW and I and we have 4 bags( 2 large and 2 small). I tip the CM that takes the baggage from the car $3 to $4 and the CM that brings it to the room $5 to $7. I don't know if I'm a cheap-skate or if this is OK.
$1 per bag for unloading and $1 per bag for bringing it to your room is standard. If your bags are really heavy you may consider more appropriate. Occasionally I have had the same person bring them that unloaded them, but just in case I tip on both separately.
Thanks for the replies. Isn't it strange the things that pop into your head when time gets close? You worry about so many things while planning, and then a simple thing like tipping gets on your mind. Thanks again.
