Another AAA?

Ok, this maybe on these boards, but can't find it.

How much is the AAA membership?
Does AAA offer different type of membership, do you need a peticular one for the discount?
How much of a discount do you recieve through AAA for WDW?
Can you get a room only, package or tickets? One or all?
Can you use any AAA for booking? Like if anyone knows a very good agent that specializes in WDW. I live in a small town, and I know there is not one in the area.

I know this is alot of questions, but you guys are great with all of them!!

1) AAA membership varies according to where you live. I belong to the Mid-Atlantic club and my annual membership dues are $59.

2) AAA does offer different levels of membership, but the basic membership is all that you need for the discounts. The higher levels of memebrship provide enhanced roadside assistance benefits.

3) Room only discounts range from 5-15% and vary according to the level of resort you book. For example, deluxe resorts are eligible for a 15% discount.

4) AAA offers both discounted packages and discounted room only rates.

5) You can use any AAA travel agent for booking, but some agents are better and more knowledgable than others. You are not required to use a AAA agent in your club area, so do a search on the DIS to get the name and contact information for good AAA agents. Any travel agent can apply a AAA discount for a room only reservation, but only AAA can book the discounted packages.

If you do join AAA, be sure to explore their web site to become familiar with the full range of discounts available.

If you go AAA, there is a great agent in SC you can use...Michelle Shears . I called today for her to book our next trip and she is out due to a family emergency, but I'll try again next week. YOu'll find her name in threads here, I got it from one of them and used her last year. Very nice and prompt!

I have a quick question..
If you book a package through AAA and want to make changes or room requests, etc.. do you have to call the AAA agent or can you call Disney directly??
