I booked a trip for January through AAA, 3 day non-hopper tickets, 3 nights at POR, with dining for myself, DH, and 3 children, ages 4, 7 and 9. The price was $1500. I called today to get the hopper and water parks added and the price went up to $1529. Does that sound right? Why did the price go up?

I believe the price went up because of the ability to go to more than one park a day and that with the non park hopper I don't think you are able to get into the water parks or Wide World of Sports complex. The price they gave sounds fair to me.

We had the same situation. Our trip would have gone up $54 in order to get the new promotion. You basically have to forfeit the AAA room discount to add on the extras. We decided that since we hadn't really planned on park hopping we would forgo changing our reservation. The TA I spoke to yesterday said to check back at the end of the month because Disney usually gives them a special AAA code to take even more off the room during Jan. I am anxious to see if that will really happen.
